Where to Brunch in Charlottenburg, Berlin

Last updated: September 12, 2023

Although I’ll always have a soft spot for east side brunch spots, once I started exploring Charlottenburg more I quickly realized that there are just as many nice morning eats west of Mitte. You can wander around Kantstraße or Uhlandstraße and find plenty of lush spots by just wandering around, but here are the ones at the top of my Charlottenburg list.

The Pink

Initially popularized by their fully pink and floral interior, The Pink is probably one of the most photographed brunch spots in Berlin. If you make a reservation you can request to be seated by their flower wall. Although I found their portions to be a bit on the smaller side, I had a good time visiting and their menu is sure to have something for everyone. Great for brunch with the gals.

Windback

Windback is home to tasty Eggs Benedict plates at overall reasonable prices. Their twist on a classic eggs benny plate is sure to win you over: poached egg, bacon, and homemade hollandaise expertly placed on a perfectly toasted thick slice of brioche bread.

Neni

Neni should be put on your brunch list just for the killer view of the park and zoo! Although there are better brunches to be had in Berlin, the atmosphere, presentation, view, and service make it a real treat. Be sure to order the sweet potato fries with mango aioli sauce, it’s delicious! Make a reservation for a late brunch then pop over to Monkey Bar afterwards for a drink.

A Never Ever Ending Love Story

Yes to these pancakes! Everything I’ve tried here has been very tasty, especially the blueberry compote and vanilla quark pancakes. I was also a big fan of the Spanish chorizo eggs on bread. Just about everything on the menu looks super appetizing, so I’m sure whatever you choose will be just as good. The only complaint I have is I find the serving size to be a bit too small for the price. So I typically end up leaving a little hungry. Nonetheless, it’s a nice treat, and for the quality and taste I’ll certainly continue to return. Also the inside is painted baby pink and absolutely adorable!

1900 Cafe Bistro

Cute and popular spot near Savignyplatz in Charlottenburg. I love that this restaurant manages to feel more traditionally German while still keeping up with the times and Berlin’s brunch scene. Booking a table in advance is recommended.

Try: Käsefrühstück

Still On My List:

Benedict

Benedict definitely seems like more of a "treat yourself" kind of place. All the most popular plates are easily between €15-€20, but the Eggs Benedict plates come with a refreshing glass of mimosa! The pancakes also look appetizing, and you can get a mini plate if you want a smaller portion. I’ll visit at some point, but there always seems to be a queue there, especially on weekends.

What Do You Fancy Love?

I’ve not yet made it to this well known brunch spot in Berlin. Although I have visited their partner restaurant, A Never Ever Ending Love Story, featured earlier on this list.

Knesebeckstraße 68-69

The Dawn

One of the latest spots to hit the Berlin brunch scene, The Dawn has taken Berlin’s foodie Instagram scene by storm. I hear great things about the breakfast sandwiches and pancakes. I will make it here eventually, but it’s not a priority yet, so you may wind up visiting before I do.

Budapester Str. 38-50

Limone Bagel

I’m a sucker for a good bagel, so of course I’d like to visit soon.

Kaiser-Friedrich-Straße 50A
